We don't have any dogs or pets now.  I grew up with the 'best-est,' biggest and blackest doggie in the world.  She was part retriever so she loved the water.  She was my buddy.  She would go to the beach with me and I even taught her to play Hide n Seek with me in the house.  Funny, as a teenager, I didn't notice how her claws were scratching and destroying the closet door I would hide in! Ugh... 

Although we don't have any pets now, I still have such great memories and that warm and fuzzy feeling about my former pets. Oh, then there was this great little beagle named Missy...

 SOOOOO...when I saw these on my last Dallas Market trip with my grandson, I knew they were had to haves! We have a limited amount of these on our website,

So Shabby Pink, and they are ready to ship.

Hello!  The weekend is almost over and I feel like I could lay down and sleep until morning! I am ready to hit the floor running on Monday morning! 

Just sharing pictures today.

We only have one (for now) of this pretty headband. This is a new item.  That sparkle in the middle is a vintage brooch.  Headband is satin covered.

I made this cute chair cover to match my roman shade curtains I also made for my workroom.  You may not have noticed, but can you believe I cut it upside down! Ugh...  Know what? It's staying just like it is!

Don't you love thinking that somebody's grandma sat and hand made these pretty pot holders?

Once these Powder Room wall/door hangings are gone, there will be no more.  Unfortunately, the company we bought these from, went out of business. We still have a handful left.

My sweet husband is a part-time wood worker and makes all my boxes and shelves.  He sometimes has trouble with that shabby decorating look though.  Being very traditional, he doesn't understand that I am going to paint it and THEN mess it up.  He sure does a good job though. There are more pieces in the works so hope you will visit our website often.

So Shabby Pink - OMGosh....We Finally Have a Shelf

HELLO!

I've gotten requests for years to come up with a shelf, but we just couldn't get to it. This is finally our first one and is very simple. Very chic. Very shabby. Straight lines studded with our signature roses and some very large rhinestones!

That pretty jar on the shelf is our new tea light candle holder.  Coming soon!

Hope all of you are doing well. It is already Spring here in the south central part of the USA.  I planted tomatoes and squash yesterday!

So Shabby Pink - I sure do love coffee!

It's late afternoon coffee time. Mmmm.....  I reeeeally like coffee!  I bought a small and inexpensive espresso machine at Target a few years ago.  I use Starbuck's syrups for flavoring and end up with a very satisfying latte each morning.

Think I will enjoy one right now and start making plans with my Monday to do list.

Oh, yes.  I forgot to tell you.  I drink my latte with a cut off straw.  Not so much stain of the teeth that way. :-)

So Shabby Pink - Morning Glory Beauty

Good morning!

I think we had a little rain last night here in south Texas! The air smells fresh and like wet grass.

I love Morning Glories! I plant some seeds each year at the bottom of a lattice trellis and they grow strong --- as long as I water them

every day.  That is a must here with our Texas summer heat.

Once it starts to cool a little, they start to bloom. They sure are beautiful.

I have some unhappy news.  Our supplier of the beautiful yard longs we have sold for years - has gone out of business.  We had just started carrying them framed too.  So far, that has been the biggest disappointment for us this year.  We are very sad for them also.  They had been there for 30 years. 

We still have a few left in stock of the unframed and I will get them on the website soon.
