So Shabby Pink Cannister Sets for Chic Home

We finally found some pretty wooden canisters to paint up for our one of a kind category.  We have 2 pair embellished with our signature roses.  See them here.

These come with the original plastic liners that fit inside.  Not recommended for food storage, however (unsealed paint).  For decorative use only.

So Shabby Pink Metal Embellished Letter Holders

The new year has started with lots to do!  I've managed to take some time in my workroom and I am trying to keep these pretty letter holders as unique as possible. These are metal and have been embellished with beautiful lace and roses.

The little tiles are hand painted by the former, My Pink Boutique.

Thank you for stopping by.  Always more to come.

So Shabby Pink - Have You Seen This Fabric ?

Hello!

I posted this picture a little while ago talking about how much I love this room.  No, it's not mine but I surely can try as hard as I can to reproduce it.

I need y'all's help.  I am looking for the fabric in this pillow pictured below.  I have been searching the internet for a long time.  I've looked through Etsy, Ebay, and lots of fabric websites.  The flowers are dogwoods and the background looks gray.  I am not sure if it is bark cloth or not.

If anyone out there finds this somewhere, would you let me know, please?  I would forever be grateful!

So Shabby Pink - My Favorite Shabby Chic Style Door

In my last post, I mentioned how soothing our color palette of pinks and whites are in some of the rooms of our home. Here is one of my favorite corners.

I found this old door at an architectural salvage and custom door store. I paid $10 for it! It wasn't understood right away by my family when it moved in but over time, as they have seen my decorating style emerge, they "get it."

As far as the door, I did not sand it, paint it or in any way alter it. I did clean it up carefully so I wouldn't disturb the old paint. I like it just the way it is.

I have started a new topic on my website, So Shabby Pink, titled "Decorating." I will be showing different ways to express the shabby chic and cottage styles in your home. It does not take a lot of money. Courage and a big imagination IS required, however. Come see us!
