So Shabby Pink Black and White Cell / Mobile Phone Purses

I put a few new cell phone purses out there this week. Take a look!
As always, our soft roses are embellished with a beautiful and large rhinestone piece.  Made of canvas with long chord strap so you can wear it across your chest.  If you want it shorter, just tie a little knot in the strap to suit your body frame.  I love the black and cream. These are 9X6 so there is plenty of room inside. See you later!

I am really loving these colorful painted flower pots.  It's fun to mix up the colors all on one piece! I am hoping to make many more of these this summer.  What a pretty way to brighter up your kitchen window.

So Shabby Pink I Love Spring

It's Spring even though it's been quite cool for Texas.  We've been waking up in the 40's this week....in the middle of April.  That is really weird here.  I love it though!

So, in my effort to plant something anyway, I spray painted this old tan plastic wash tub a pretty shiny green color.  I have planted some squash seed on one side and HOPEFULLY, will be able to support at least one squash plant in this wide tub. A squash plant will reach a certain size and them "tip over."  They get quite large, so we'll see if my little experiment works.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a nice weekend!

So Shabby Pink Happy Spring Jar in Pastel Colors

Happy Spring!  The weather was nice this weekend and I planted some tomatoes and flowers.  Pictures to follow.  I just needed to get my fingers in some dirt.

Just reminding you of our pretty rose studded jars. You can see them here.  They are fashioned in that chic and cottage style we all love so much.  We have lots of pretty spring colors and if you have any specific color requests, let us know.

Hope you are doing well. Have a good week!

So Shabby Pink Bling Light Switch Covers

I like bling.  Not too much....just enough.  When I walk in a room, I want them to see me coming instead of seeing only my bling.

Have you seen the "just enough" bling we've added to our light switch covers? I like them. Visit us here and put a little sparkle in your favorite room.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Thursday night at 11:45!  I am so tired! We've been busy with a variety of things, one of which was my Dad's 97th birthday! Well, I am so ready to get some sleep!

These are sold separately on our website, So Shabby Pink.

So Shabby Pink Superbowl Eats for Game Time

The Superbowl came and went!  Depending on who you were rooting for would, obviously, determine if you enjoyed the game or not.  I honestly do prefer a little more competitive game but that isn't how it happened.

We DID, however, enjoy what I cooked up for game time!  Every fun event is just an excuse to eat, right?  Found this wonderful shrimp and gumbo recipe on the internet and made some homemade biscuits.  Opps...not totally the truth.  I used Pioneer Baking Mix to make these fantastic "homemade" biscuits.

This cute little magnet board will soon be available on our website for purchase.  It's metal and that really pretty rose magnet is metal too.

We had a really pretty day yesterday with sunny skies in th 70's. This was one of the prettiest sunsets I've seen in awhile.  Unfortunately, there is more bad weather coming in with ICE again in South Central Texas.  Yippie....

Hope all are having a good start to this new week.

Warm regards,

Peggy

So Shabby Pink - Curl Up by the Fire

Just curl up and relax.  Kind of peaceful to look at, isn't it?
We don't have a fire very often, but when we do, I use those fake pressed wood logs.  They are so pretty and leave very little mess.  Not much heat, but it's just pretty, you know?

Thanks for stopping by!  Peggy

So Shabby Pink Home Made Latte Recipe with Starbucks (TM) Syrups

Good morning!  Coffee time!

As much as I LOVE coffee, I am still very frugal when it comes to how I enjoy it.  I've priced some of the popular coffee makers and came sooooo close to buying one the other day.  Then I "heard" in my thinking, "Use what you have."

Mine is an older version of this one:

Pump Espresso Maker (BVMC-ECMP55)

When looking for an espresso maker, years ago I decided on a $79 Mr. Coffee Espresso machine.  I had read that the better type is PUMP driven, so found one in a local discount store and bought it.  I've used it for years without any problems.

How many of you use a straw to keep from staining your teeth so badly?  :-)

Here is one little tip to make your coffee even better.  I buy the coffee flavoring syrups at Starbucks. If they have enough, they will sell you a huge bottle for $12.95.

My home made morning latte recipe:

1. 2 shots of espresso (2 oz=1/4 cup)
2. 1 cup of low fat milk (frothed
   with the machine.

3. Starbucks(TM) flavoring
4. The steamer doesn't always warm it as
much as I like it, so I just put it
   in the microwave.

Thanks for stopping by!
